Body found in search for missing Worthing man

A Worthing man who had been missing for 12 days has been found deceased.

The body of Christopher Marshall, 34, who had been missing from his home in Worthing since 11 April, was found in woodland near Broadwater, Worthing, on Saturday 23 April by searching police officers with dogs.

There are no suspicious circumstances and the Coroners Officer is continung enquiries.

There had been widespread police enquiries, and searches with the assistance of two volunteer groups, Sussex Search and Rescue (SusSAR) and the Sussex Community Search Team (SCST), over the previous 12 days.
