Arson attack destroys vans at Littlehampton Marina

Police are looking for three people in connection with the fire

Police investigating a fire at a yard in at Littlehampton Marina are treating the blaze as an arson attack.

Three vans were destroyed and two other vehicles were badly damaged in the fire, which broke out at around 12.14am on Tuesday (October 15th).

Officers are looking to identify three people seen wearing high-vis jackets on a bridge as fire crews arrived.

They were witnessed watching the event on the A259 bridge, that crosses the River Arun just north of the marina near Tesco.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area shortly after midnight, or who may have captured anyone on dash cam on or around the bridge at that time, is asked to report to Sussex Police online or call 101 quoting serial 225 of 15/10.
