Air ambulance called to serious Sussex crash
A car left the A21 and a hit a tree in the early hours
The air ambulance has been called out after a car left the A21 in Sussex and collided with a tree early on Wednesday morning (April 6th).
Fire crews and police were also sent to the scene at Silver Hill near Robertsbridge at just before 1.30am.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue said five men were in the car at the time of the collision.
Crews from Battle and Hastings, and one officer worked to extract the passengers.
The road has been closed and drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
