A man has been assaulted in his garden in Eastbourne

It started when the suspect was caught urinating in the victim's garden

A man is being sought after an assault in Eastbourne that started when a man was caught urinating in another man’s garden.

Police say it happened at around 9.30pm on Saturday October 30 in Cavendish Place.

The victim, a 44-year-old man, went outside to record the incident on his phone when the suspect took the device and hit him in the face, causing an injury that required hospital treatment.

Officers believe the man pictured could help with their enquiries.

He has several tattoos on his neck and face.
