86-year-old man hospitalised following Shoreham collision

An 86-year-old man has been taken to hospital following a collision in Shoreham which left a car on its side.

Two vehicles were involved in the incident in Eastern Avenue at around 12.30pm on Saturday (October 31st).

The man, who was in the car at the time, had to be extracted from the vehicle by teams from West Sussex Fire and Rescue.

Sussex Police said he received minor injuries in the incident and was taken to hospital.

The driver of the second vehicle also received minor injuries and was treated by paramedics at the scene.
