16-year-old arrested following serious crash in Battle
Police say they were involved in a pursuit prior to the collision
Police have arrested a 16-year-old boy after a crash in Battle which left three people with serious injuries.
They were all in a car which collided with the teenager's vehicle on the A21 near John's Cross on Thursday night (March 16th).
The teenager was arrested on suspicion of offences including dangerous driving, failing to stop, and aggravated vehicle taking.
Sussex Police said his vehicle had been involved in a pursuit with police prior to the collision.
They have referred themselves to the Independent Office of Police Conduct (IOPC).
The A21 was closed for some time following the crash but had reopened as of 11am on Friday.
