A teenager has been charged with attempted murder after a man and woman were seriously injured in Worthing.
The pair, both in their 40s, were discovered by emergency services at an address in Rowlands Road in the early hours of Monday morning (December 13th).
The victims were taken to hospital, where they remained as of Tuesday morning.
The boy, who can't be named for legal reasons, was taken into custody after handing himself into officers.
He is due to appear before Crawley Magistrates' Court today.
Detective Chief Inspector Kelly Lewis of Sussex Police said: “This was a traumatic incident and our thoughts are with the two victims.
“The boy is known to the victims, and we are not seeking anyone else in relation to this incident.
“There has been an increased police presence in the Rowlands Road area while we’ve carried out our enquiries and I’d like to thank residents and the wider community for their patience and understanding during this time.”
