Reports have been made to Surrey Heath Police that youths are targeting emergency vehicles in Camberley.

In a post on Facebook the force said glass bottles and nails have been left behind the wheels of police vehicles and ambulances with the aim to damage the tyres.

Officers say this has been done on more than one occasion by unknown people:

"We have had reports that two suspicious male youths, one in a grey tracksuit and a second in all black clothing, have been targeting emergency services vehicles.

"As a result our emergency services are losing the use of their vehicles.

"It is very disappointing that anyone would want to deprive the public in getting the help they may require."

Anyone with any information should contact Surrey Heath Police.
