Man arrested after Wrecclesham resident attacked in their home
The incident happened on Friday (11 June)
One man has been arrested following an assault at a Farnham home.
Surrey Police say the suspect entered the victim's home in Wrecclesham on Friday (11 June) and assaulted him.
The victim sustained significant injuries and remains in hospital where his condition has been described as "serious but stable".
Police were called to the scene by a neighbour and shortly after officers arrived, a man was arrested.
A 27-year-old man from Addlestone has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently in custody.
Police say they believe the victim and the suspect were not known to each other, and that there is no threat or risk to the wider public.
The investigation remains ongoing.
