Woman's body found on A331 in Tongham

Police are investigating the death of a female pedestrian after her body was found on the A331 in Tongham.

Officers were called to the road near the Ash bridge, soon after midnight today (28 September), to reports of a body on the carriageway.

It is believed the victim was struck by at least five vehicles - enquiries remain ongoing to identify these.
