A woman from Guildford who has received an OBE in the New Year Honours List said she was "completely blown away" by the news.

Elizabeth Hutton is the Chief Executive of Kicks Count, which aims to reduce the UK's high stillbirth and neonatal death rate by raising awareness of baby movement.#

The charity say that baby movement is important, highlighting that 50% of mothers who had a stillbirth noticed slowing down of baby movements beforehand.

Lots of people across Surrey are on the Honours List, including Lioness and Chelsea defender Millie Bright, who is from Redhill and has received an OBE.

**"I wanted to prevent it. I thought people shouldn't be going through this."**

Elizabeth explained why she wanted to get into this area of work.

"I lost my son in 2010 and I became very aware of how devastating this loss was. I looked at ways that I could help prevent it or support people. My main thing was I wanted to prevent it, I thought people shouldn't be going through this."

Elizabeth became CEO of the charity in 2013.

There's been plenty of milestones for Elizabeth and the charity, including getting a bill through parliament and winning a Guinness World Record for the world's largest tombola.

Elizabeth said that despite her achievement, her charity's work is far from done:

"We would love to continue to raise the profile of Kicks Count, continue to get the message out there because there's still a long way to go.

"There's still 12 babies being stillborn or dying shortly after birth every day in the UK - and that is something we will continue to work towards, and hopefully get more people signed up, more people aware - and save more babies"
