74-year-old woman dies after being hit by van on A322 in Lightwater
Her next of kin have been informed
Surrey Police say a pedestrian involved in a collision on the A322 at Lightwater yesterday (6 April) was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 74-year-old woman was struck by a van at the junction with Blackstroud Lane at around 2.20pm.
Officers said her next of kin have been informed, adding that an investigation into the circumstances of the collision is underway.
The force is appealing for witnesses and anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact them via 101, quoting PR/45210035196.
