Woking man charged over serious assault outside train station

The 23-year-old has been charged with wounding with intent, possession of an offensive weapon and possessing class A and B drugs

A man has been charged with multiple offenses following a serious assault in Woking.

The attack happened outside the train station on Chertsey Road last Thursday (28 January).

23 year old Jozef Siwak, of Albert Drive, Woking has been charged with wounding with intent, possession of an offensive weapon and possessing class A and B drugs.

Woking Police said in a post on Facebook:

"We would like to take this opportunity to thank members of the public who have come forward regarding this incident."

Siwak has been charged by Surrey Police and put before the first magistrates court.

He has been released on bail by the court to reappear in March.
