If you live in the borough of Woking, a survey is now online asking residents what they think of council services and how they are delivered.

Woking Borough Council also wants to know people's views on ways it could manage its finances following the challenges posed by the pandemic.

The authority says the feedback could help shape their plans for the next five years.

Cllr Ayesha Azad, Leader of Woking Borough Council, said: “The feedback gathered from residents via this important borough-wide consultation will shape our Corporate Plan from 2022 to 2027. A Corporate Plan outlines why a council does what it does, the services it will deliver and it provides the framework for residents to judge our performance.

“We are a public service accountable to local residents, so it’s vitally important that residents let us know what services are important to them and which council services need improving.

“The survey is easy to access online at www.woking.gov.uk/yoursay and it will remain open until midnight on Friday 10 December 2021.

“We have also randomly selected 3,000 households across the borough and sent them a hardcopy survey via the post. If you are one of these households, I urge you to complete the survey and return it to us by this date.”

There are also consultation roadshows throughout the borough with Ayesha Azad and the Chief Executive of the Council, Julie Fisher.
