Witness appeal launched over fatal Guildford crash
Police are now appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash in Guildford earlier this week.
On Tuesday (9th February) officers were called to Woodbridge Road shortly before midday after a report of a collision between a car and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a man in his 50s, was crossing the road on the pedestrian crossing when the collision happened.
He sustained serious head injuries and passed away at the scene.
The driver and his passenger were both taken to hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the moments leading up to it is asked to come forward.
