Wisley Gardens are getting into the festive spirit and have launched their very own 'Let it Glow' light trail.

RHS Wisley - the charity setting up this event - have invited Surrey families to join them for an evening out on the run up to Christmas.

We're told attendees can expect to see light projections, festive music and even a fire display!

A variety of plants are also on display all around the grounds decorated head- to - toe in Christmas lights.

We spoke to Wisley Garden Manager Emma Allen about the event.

She told us what attendees can expect: "Seeing all the trees lit up at night is really special, seeing the glass house lit up is really fabulous.

"All the dramatic music that comes with the fire, lovely projections on the laboratory and just having a hot chocolate or mulled wine as well - it's the perfect way to spend a Winter evening.

"I think a lot of visitors also really enjoy that the plants are lit up and particularly when you go in the glass house, and you see all the cacti - that is really special."
