Three men arrested and up to 200 cannabis plants found in Guildford

Up to 200 plants, believed to be cannabis have been found by police in Guildford.

Officers made the discovery when they attended an address in Grange Road following reports of suspicious activity on Monday evening (26 April).

Three people at the address fled when the police arrived but were soon found and detained, with help from a number of officers, including a dog team.

Between 100 and 200 plants were found when the address was searched.

Three men including a 24-year-old of no fixed address, a 31-year-old man from Kent and a 37-year-old man of no fixed address, were arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and remain in custody.

The investigation remains ongoing.
