Two sport legends to visit Waverley Leisure Centres
Two of Britain's greatest ever athletes will be visiting leisure centres in Godalming, Farnborough, Haslemere and Cranleigh.
Two of Britain's greatest ever athletes will be visiting leisure centres across Waverley on the 1st of July.
Mark Foster, who's a six-time swimming world champion, and Colin Jackson, a two time world champion who specialised in the 110 metre hurdles, will be visiting four leisure centres in Waverley.
Haslemere Leisure Centre, Cranleigh Leisure Centre, Farnham Leisure Centre, Godalming Leisure Centre, managed by Everyone Active in partnership with Waverley Borough Council, will each host an open day event, inviting the local community to come along and join in the fun – all for free.
The open days will run from 10am – 4pm, with Mark Foster attending Farnham Leisure Centre from 10am – 12:30pm and Haslemere Leisure Centre from 1pm – 4pm, whilst Colin Jackson will visit Godalming Leisure Centre from 10am – 1pm and Cranleigh Leisure Centre from 2pm – 4pm, to meet and greet fans, sign autographs and take selfies.
