Two men assaulted during 'horrific attack' in broad daylight in Guildford hotel car park
The attackers used a pole or bat to hit the victims
Surrey Police are looking to identify three people after two men were attacked in the car park of a Guildford hotel.
The victims were seriously assaulted outside the Travelodge in the centre of Guildford at 8pm on Sunday evening (25 April).
The attackers used a pole or bat to hit the victims, causing one to sustain a head injury and the other a number of facial injuries.
Officers are looking for a woman who is described as white and in her twenties.
She was wearing a white T-shirt with a motif on the front and blue jeans, and had long dark hair which was tied up.
The first male suspect who used the pole or bat as a weapon, is described as white with short light or grey hair, around five feet ten inches tall and of larger build.
The second man is white, in his twenties or early to mid thirties, with short dark hair and thought to be around six feet tall.
Police believe believe a silver Volkswagen Golf and a light or beige coloured older style Mazda are connected to the suspects.
Detective Constable Susannah Ridgewell from Guildford CID, who is investigating, says:
“This was a horrific attack in a public place and in daylight, and the victims have been fortunate; their injuries could have been far worse.
“Can you help us identify the people involved in this attack, or help us piece together their motivations for doing something so brutal?
"Someone will have seen these cars too, or will know who owns or has access to them.”
