Two family members jailed for weapon offences in Farnborough
A man and his nephew have both been sent to prison
Two family members have been jailed for weapon offences in Farnborough.
Police were called on Thursday 2 October to a report that two men were in possession of swords on Burns Close. The weapons were not used and nobody was injured.
Officers carried out enquiries and arrested two men at a different address in Farnborough.
Teech Rusike, 28, of Chaucer Road, Farnborough, was charged with possessing a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place and possessing a controlled drug of Class B.
His nephew, Jermaine Rusike, 20, of Montgomery Road, Farnborough, was charged with possessing a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place.
They both pleaded guilty to the offences and were sentenced at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Tuesday 11 November. Teech was jailed for eight months, while Jermaine was jailed for six months.
