Two drug dealers jailed after stop and search in Guildford
The pair are behind bars for more than two years each.
Two people are behind bars for drug dealing after cocaine was discovered during a vehicle stop in Guildford.
Police stopped a car in Stoke Road at 1am on 28 June, and found two men in possession of cash, phones, false id documents and two bags of white powder.
19 year old Klevis Abazi, of Devonshire Road in Sheerwater, and 21 year-old Gertan Pali, of no fixed address, were jailed for two and a half years at Guildford Crown Court on Monday (14 September).
PC David Oliver from the West Surrey Proactive Team, said: "This court result shows just how effective our proactive stop searches can be and I'd urge anyone with concerns about drug dealing to contact us. Information provided by members of the public is extremely valuable and can help make our communities safer."
