Two men charged over Aldershot stabbing

Two men have been charged after a stabbing in Aldershot.

Hampshire Police were called at 2.23am on Wednesday 10 April to reports that a man in his 20s had been stabbed near the basketball court in Municipal Gardens.

He suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.

Nathan O’Brien, 24, of Coe Close, Aldershot, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

Robert Sifile, 27, of Cambridge Road, Aldershot, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

A 31-year-old man from Aldershot arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent has been released and will face no further action.
