Drivers are being warned about the dangers of driving under the influence, after separate crashes in Surrey saw two people arrested.

Both took place earlier this month, between 5 and 8 August, when police from Surrey Heath were stopping vehicles in a drink and drug driving operation.

In Farnham, one person was dealt with for blowing 115 at the roadside.

While on the A30 in Bagshot another person blew 102, after the driver had crashed into a stationery lorry and other nearby vehicles.

Surrey Heath Police have published pictures of the damaged cars on their Facebook page - asking people to think before driving under the influence of any substance.

They say it is not worth the risk to yourself and to other road users and pedestrians.
