Three vehicle crash closes part of M25 in Surrey

One person has suffered serious injuries.

Part of the M25 in Surrey is closed this morning (20 October), after a crash involving an ambulance, a car and an HGV.

It happened just before 3.30am on the anticlockwise, between junctions 9 and 8, close to Walton on the Hill.

The driver of the car, a black BMW, suffered serious leg injuries and was taken to hospital.

The other occupants of the vehicles involved were unharmed.

The motorway was shut between junctions 10 and 8 through the rush hour.

Delays on the #M25 anticlockwise are now around 90 mins above usual journey times. Congestion is stretching back from J10 to J12 approx 9 miles

Officers want to speak to witnesses who saw the crash, or captured the manner of driving of the vehicles on dash cam or helmet cam between 3.15am and 3.30am this morning.
