Three arrests after collision and assault in Fleet

Three occupants reportedly assaulted each other and damaged two vehicles

Three men have been arrested after a collision led to an assault in Fleet.

Hampshire Police were called at 11.54pm on Saturday night (3rd April) to a report that a black Fiat Punto and a red Volkswagen Polo had been involved in a collision on Elvetham Road.

It was reported that the three occupants of the vehicles then assaulted each other and caused further damage to the two vehicles involved.

Officers are appealing for witnesses and would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time.

They are particularly keen to hear from a woman in a vehicle who stopped during the incident and then drove away. Police believe this woman may have information that could assist their investigation.

Three men have been arrested in connection with this incident and all three have since been released from custody under investigation:

  • An 18-year-old man from Fleet was arrested on suspicion of affray, driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit and possession of a controlled drug of Class B.
  • An 18-year-old man from Fleet was arrested on suspicion of affray and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit.
  • An 18-year-old man from Fleet was arrested on suspicion of affray.
