The UK's tallest rollercoaster has closed - less than 48 hours after it opened.

Hyperia at Thorpe Park, in Chertsey, Surrey, attracted huge crowds on Friday - but it's shut from today (Sunday) until Wednesday, with 'unforeseen circumstances' being blamed.

The ride's 236 feet tall - and has a top speed of 81 miles per hour.

People with tickets will able to rebook for another day free of charge.
