Ten Year Anniversary of McLaren Car built in Woking

McLaren is celebrating an important anniversary this week, with ten years ago being the first reveal of the McLaren P1™.
It was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show back in March 2013, and was extremely exclusive, selling just 375 units.
The car held impressive pace, including an acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds.
It could also go from 0-300km/h in 16.5 seconds, five seconds faster than the McLaren F1.
The hybrid hypercar was announced with the aim of being 'the best driver's car in the world on both road and track'.
All 375 cars were assembled at the McLaren Production Centre in Woking.
From start to finish, the build of each car took 17 days The car also possessed ground-breaking carbon fibre construction, advanced Formula 1 inspired aerodynamics and pioneering high-performance hybrid powertrain technologies.
