Teenager who died in a single vehicle collision in Egham named

The incident happened on the 17th May in Prune Hill

The teenager who died in the single-vehicle collision in Egham on 17th May 2022 has been named.

Formal identification has taken place and he has been named as Abdullah Mallah, aged 17 years, from Chertsey. He was a passenger in the car at the time.

His family is being supported by officers and have issued the following statement:

“We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of our family and friends for their unwavering support during this difficult time.”

The driver and the other two occupants who were travelling in the car suffered minor injuries.

The collision took place in Prune Hill at 9.50pm.

The investigation, which is being conducted by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, remains ongoing, and the matter has been referred to the coroner.
