Teenager airlifted to hospital following stabbing in Guildford

An investigation is underway after teenager was stabbed in Guildford.

Surrey Police say they were called to Stoke Park on Nightingale Road at around 4.15pm on Thursday afternoon (20th July) following a report that a man had been stabbed near to the skatepark.

A man in his teens, was airlifted to hospital where he is currently receiving treatment.

wo suspects, both described as White males aged between 16 and 18, fled the scene following the assault.

Detective Constable Chloe Houghton said:

“We understand this is an alarming incident and there has been a significant police presence in the park this afternoon while we investigate what happened.

"Our team is doing everything we can to identify the individuals involved and I strongly urge anyone who witnessed the assault, or has any information about the suspects, to please get in touch straight away."

Officers would also like to hear from anyone who was driving along Nightingale Road at around 4.15pm and has dashcam footage.
