Teenager arrested following Guildford stabbing
A 17 year old boy from Godalming has been arrested following a stabbing in Stoke Park in Guildford on Thursday afternoon (20th July).
Surrey Police say he was detained in the early hours of Friday morning (21st July) on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and theft.
The victim remains in hospital after sustaining injuries but is in a stable condition.
In a statement Surrey Police said:
"We’re continuing to ask any witnesses of the assault to please get in touch with us quoting PR/45230080902.
"We are still looking to identify a second teenager who we believe was present at the time of the stabbing. He is described as a White male aged between 16 and 18."
