15 year old girl sexually assaulted in Farnborough

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 15 year old girl was sexually assaulted in Farnborough.

It happened after an unknown man approached her in an alleyway off Woburn Avenue and Manor Road early on Sunday evening (7 March between 4:30pm and 5:30pm).

He fled the scene when a woman walked through the alleyway.

The suspect is described as a:

• White man

• Between 30 and 40-years-old

• Approximately 5ft 8ins tall

• Skinny, muscular, build

• Wiry dirty blonde hair, which is worn longer and brushed forward on top with shaved sides

• Short blonde beard

He was also described as having a tattoo on his left wrist. He was wearing a black hoody, black jeans, and dirty white trainers.

Hampshire Police say officers have been in the area conducting a number of enquiries, and are now turning to the public.

They are asking anyone with information to come forward.

Officers are particularly keen to speak to the woman who walked through the alleyway, especially if you saw a man walking away from a teenage girl.
