Surrey well-represented in list of top places to retire.
In a new ranking released, Surrey features five times within the top ten.
England's best places to retire have been revealed following a ranking being released by L&G.
Within the top ten places, Surrey was represented five times, which included Dorking and Horley at third.
Lucy, who's an estate agent in Dorking says that she wasn't surprised by the results.
"We have an enormous amount of people retiring and scaling down into the town"
"Dorking Halls, societies, art societies and just many activities for people to do, it just provides something for everyone, so no I'm not surprised"
Other places listed in the top ten were Godalming and Ash (fourth), Woking (sixth), Farnham and Bordon (seventh), and Esher and Walton (eighth).
How the rankings were determined
The ranking for the places were determined by six factors, those being housing, health, social and community, financial, nature, and amenities.
Scores for these factors were determined by a wide range of existing data including Office for National Statistics (ONS) figures, census data and housing and house price reports.
The housing score considered factors such as access to residential care homes and the availability of suitable senior housing in the region.
Social and Community rankings looked at the number of adults in the area aged 65 and over, life satisfaction levels, reported levels of happiness, and distance to the nearest station.
The nature score was based off of air quality, reported summer days, the percentage of addresses with private outdoor space, and the average size of private outdoor space.
Amenities scores were calculated by looking at access to chemists, supermarkets, post offices, banks, libraries, and theatres, among others.
A spokesperson for L&G, said: "This research gives us a more complete picture of what shapes a happy later life. It's not just about one factor - it's the combination of health, social connections, environment, and financial security that all play a part in retirement wellbeing.
"Financial security in particular, is an enabler for many of the other measures, giving people the freedom to choose where and how they want to live in later life."
