Surrey Trading Standards warns of scam that tries to charge you for a COVID pass

A warning from Surrey Trading standards about a scam currently circulating about Covid passports.
People are asked to provide payment so they can create a Covid pass, which is free.
The messages can disguise themselves to make them look like they are from the official NHS.
If you are aged 16 or over, you can get an NHS COVID Pass for travel abroad.
If you are aged 18 or over, you can get an NHS COVID Pass for domestic events.
We are being reminded this is not something you need to pay for- you can get a digital version using the NHS App or NHS website or you can call 119 and request a letter in the post.
