Surrey Police have charged a man with a number of historic sex offences against a child.
77-year-old Colin Brooks from Brixham in Devon has been charged with one count of indecent assault on a girl under the age of 14 years and six counts of indecent assault on a girl under the age of 16 years.
The offences are alleged to have taken place over a period of five years.
Brooks worked as a teacher and headmaster at various educational establishments in the South East of England.
He is due to appear in court on 8 January 2021.
