Motorcyclist dies in M25 crash in Surrey

Police are appealing for witnesses

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died at the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on the M25 yesterday.

It happened on the anti-clockwise carriageway between junctions 5 and 6 near Godstone, at around half past five yesterday afternoon.

Two cars were also involved.

The motorcyclist, who is believed to be in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of paramedics.

The air ambulance was also in attendance.

The M25 was closed in both directions for investigation work.
