Surrey man arrested as police investigate attempted murder in Berkshire
The incident happened in the early hours of New Year's Day.
Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted murder in Slough.
The incident occurred at around 3am on Monday (1/1) in High Street.
A group of people were involved in an altercation in a nightclub which spilled out into High Street.
The offenders left the altercation and returned in a vehicle. The vehicle, a white Peugeot hatchback ran over the victim, a man in his twenties.
The victim sustained minor cuts and bruises in the incident.
An 18-year-old man from Surrey has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in custody.
Descriptions
The offenders are aged around 20, two of them are white men, with one of the men having short dark hair and a beard and was wearing a dark coloured short sleeved top, grey hooded top and blue jeans.
A second man was wearing a long sleeve black shirt and black trousers.
Three of them are white women, two with long blonde hair one of which had a pink top, black leggings and white shoes, and one with a black mini dress and black boots.
Another had long brown hair and wore a blue top, black leggings and white shoes.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Aaron Lancaster, said:
“This was a serious incident that we are investigating thoroughly, with a suspect currently in police custody.
“I would like to reassure the community this was an isolated incident.
“I understand people may have concerns but you are welcome to discuss these with any of our uniformed officers and members of the public will see an increase police presence while we continue to investigate.
