Four men jailed after Surrey burglary spree

They've been jailed for a combined total of 17 years

Four men have been jailed for a combined total of 17 years after a series of break-ins across Surrey and London.

Surrey police say the group carried out at least 11 burglaries in just over a month last year and stole over £80000 worth of property.

The burglaries took place between 3rd November and 11th December 2024.

The group reportedly posed as tourists in wealthy areas and forced their way into properties through windows and doors.

They stole watches, designer clothes and jewellery.

One of the men, Israel Contreras, was arrested while trying to get on a flight to Chile from Heathrow Airport on 5th December.

The other three were found in London on 11th December trying to flee from police in a car.

The men were sentenced at Guildford Crown Court with the following jail sentences:

  • Israel Contreras, who's 22-years-old, was sentenced to five years and three months
