Surrey libraries continue reopening after lockdown

A further dozen will allow visitors again.

A further dozen libraries across Surrey reopen their doors to the public after lockdown this week.

It will bring the number of available across the county to just under 40 – as sites including Cranleigh, Haslemere and Horsley allow visitors to browse the shelves again.

Only a limited number of people will be allowed in at a time though and any returned books will be quarantined for 72 hours.

In all, 38 libraries will be open for public access and will also offer limited use of PC equipment.

Face coverings must be worn inside all library buildings, in line with current Government guidance.
