People living in rural areas of Surrey Heath are being asked what transport they would like to see as part of moves to improve accessibility into towns.

The borough council is looking to develop its Community Transport service to help reduce isolation.

It is also to try to reduce the impact on the environment of multiple car journeys from villages.

Villagers in the borough can fill out a survey - online, or via email - or you can ask to be sent a paper copy.

Some of the issues are:

What would help you and your family?

Safe, accessible and regular transport across and between our villages and towns?

Reliable transport to GP surgeries and hospitals?

Affordable transport to leisure and recreational activities?

Surrey Heath Portfolio Holder for Environment and Health, Cllr David Mansfield, said: “We want to make Surrey Heath and its communities more connected, reduce isolation, and decrease the impact on the environment of multiple car journeys.

"Let us know what would make a difference to your lives.”

You can complete the online survey at:
