A weather warning for Surrey and parts of East Hampshire is no longer in force.

The Met Office said the yellow rain alert, which took effect at midnight today (20 January), no longer covers our area.

It had previously said the warning would be in place for our area until midday tomorrow.

Storm Christoph is still affecting much of the UK, including other parts of Hampshire, through to Berkshire and other areas in the South.

The Met Office forecast for the rest of today across Surrey and East Hampshire is for wet and windy weather, and highs of 12 °C.

Rain is likely to continue through the night, becoming drier and clearer by dawn tomorrow with lows of 4 °C.

Tomorrow is predicted to be cold, bright and blustery with plenty of sunny spells but also some showers, with highs of 8 °C.
