People enjoying the easing of lockdown restrictions in Surrey and East Hampshire will be able to take advantage of the hot weather this week.

The Met Office says areas in the south of England could reach 24°C on Wednesday (31 March) following the opening of outdoor swimming pools, golf courses and tennis courts.

It is also expected to be warm tomorrow (30 March) with groups of six people able to meet in parks and gardens.

The UK could break its record high March temperature this week according to forecasters - who are predicting highs of 24°C

Parts of the country will be hotter than the south of France and Ibiza by Tuesday.

That could make it only the second day in March that the temperature has reached this high in records going back to 1884.
