Staff from Surrey Fire and rescue will pay tribute to those who lost their lives during the 9/11 terror attacks.

Today marks 20 years since nearly 3,000 people lost their lives in New York.

Fordbridge Fire Station will walk five miles and climb 110 floors of a local tower block in full fire kit and breathing apparatus.

This replicates the journey emergency services made that day with 343 firefighters among those who died.

They are also raising money for the Fire Fighters Charity (UK) and the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (US).
