Surrey Fire: Warning about charging batteries at home
Fire bosses issue advice following a blaze
Surrey Fire and Rescue are urging people to take extra care after dealing with a blaze caused by battery for a remote control car.
They are asking people not to charge batteries overnight.
They also say people must use the correct charger and they want people to check if the battery on charge is overheating or is out of shape.
