Snow warnings extended for Surrey and East Hampshire
The Met Office has issued yellow alerts through to the middle of next week

We are warned to brace ourselves for several days of snow and ice - as weather warnings for snow are extended.
The Met Office has issued yellow alerts for snow from midnight tonight (7 January) right the way through until midnight on Wednesday (10 January).
A warning that's been in place since 11 o'clock last night (6 January) is also due to lift at around 6 o'clock tomorrow morning (8 January).
The Met Office expected the snowfall to be at its heaviest over the weekend but a spokesperson also told us the situation could change very quickly.
There could also be delays or cancellations to rail and air travel.
Some rural communities could be cut off and there is a risk of power cuts and other services such as mobile phone coverage being affected.
The Met Office says while some areas within the warning areas will remain largely dry, some persistent bands of showers are likely to develop in places.
Widespread daily accumulations of 2-5 cm are probable, with 10-15 cm plausible in areas where showers merge into more organised and prolonged spells of snow.
Icy stretches are expected to form particularly in areas where there has been some snow melting during the daytime.
