Poisonous snake found hiding in police car in Surrey
It was found in the undercarriage just outside Great Windsor Park.
Surrey police say the snake found hiding in one of their cars was thought to be an adder – the UK’s only poisonous snake.
It was found in the undercarriage of one of their vehicles while out on partol near Great Windsor Park on Sunday morning.
Fortunately, a park warden was on hand to help remove it safely and back into the wild.
Surrey Police say:
"The discovery was made shortly before 9:30am on Sunday of the snake, believed to be an adder, underneath one of our police cars just outside Great Windsor Park.
"The snake was safely removed by a park warden."
