Let it...snow? 'Small chance' of snow for Surrey and Hampshire
Most of us will have rain instead
The Met Office says there is a 'small chance' of snow in Surrey and East Hampshire this weekend.
A yellow weather warning has been issued from midnight through to 10am on Saturday (27 November).
However, it looks like most of us will have rain instead of snow with lows in our area of 2°C.
The Met Office forecast states:
"Whilst most areas will see spells of rain there is a small chance of this turning to snow on Saturday morning leading to some disruption.
"Windy and cold with outbreaks of rain, sleet and perhaps a little snow over hills, these gradually becoming more confined to the east through the day. Maximum temperature 6 °C."
Storm Arwen rolls in
Meanwhile, parts of our area are also bracing themselves for some strong winds as Storm Arwen rolls in.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind covering parts of East Hampshire.
It is in place on Saturday (27 November) from midnight through to 6pm.
The warning covers several areas locally, including Hook, Alton and Fleet.
