Six drag artists are set to complete a skydive to raise money for Princess Alice Hospice in Esher.

Wearing traditional drag outfits, wigs and make-up, the artists will be jumping from a 15,000 feet height on the 19th June.

Crystal and Le Fil, who both took part in BBC3’s RuPaul’s Drag Race, Rosie Zinfandel, Kiki Snatch, Honey Foxx and Rhys Pieces are all signed up and ready to jump. T

Their reasons for supporting the Hospice are many fold; from having experience of a family member receiving palliative care from a hospice; to undertaking the challenge in memory of a loved one, to wanting to tick off a bucket list dream.

Rosie Zinfandel, a Surrey resident, will feature in a film being produced by Fresh Films, which aims to raise awareness that Princess Alice Hospice’s compassionate and person-centred palliative care is for everybody. The film will highlight the Hospice’s inclusive environment and follow some staff members as they go about their roles; it will also provide an insight into some of the drag artists’ own places of work.

Claire Woodward is the Community Partnerships and Events Lead at Princess Alice Hospice. She said that "They're incredible artists - I've been avidly following them on Instagram since they signed up. They're very much coming forward because they want to celebrate our compassionate care and a lot of them have experienced bereavement themselves."
