Several lambs killed after being hit by vehicle in Bramley

Several lambs at a Surrey farm have died after a vehicle drove onto the property and ran them over.

It happened overnight on Wednesday into Thursday (17th-18th January) at a farm in Bramley about three miles south of Guildford.

Police are appealing for witnesses , especially anyone who saw a damaged vehicle in the area.

Waverley Neighbourhood Sergeant Phil Bayman said:

“This incident is extremely unusual, and we appreciate that it will have caused considerable distress to the owner of the farm and within the wider community.

"We would like to reassure you that we are taking this seriously and doing everything we can to bring those responsible to justice.

“We are asking anyone with any information, including anyone who witnessed the incident, or with any other information, particularly anyone who may have seen a damaged vehicle in the area around the time of the offence, to come forward as soon as possible. We are also looking for any dashcam or CCTV footage which may help our investigation.”
