Second teenager dies after crash near Aldershot

The 17 year old was a passenger in a car which collided with a taxi

A second teenager has died after a crash near Aldershot in September.

17 year old William (Billy) Robinson was a passenger in a VW Polo which hit a taxi on Oxenden Road in Tongham at around 1am on 26 September.

18 year old Charlie Hopkins, from Frimley Green, also died as a result of the crash.

Six other people were taken to hospital. The taxi driver suffered minor injuries.

Detective Sergeant Kani Barawi, of Surrey Police, said:

“Our thoughts remain with the families of the boys involved in this tragic incident, which has resulted in the deaths of two teenagers.

"Our investigation into the circumstances of the crash remains ongoing. We respectfully ask that the families involved are given the privacy and time they need.”
