Ash Manor School closed following outbuilding fire

Surrey Fire and Rescue are currently dealing with a fire at some outbuildings at Ash Manor School.

The fire service say the fire is not currently affecting the main school buildings.

Residents are advised to avoid the area if possible and close windows and doors at this time.

Ash Manor School closed for the day

Surrey County Council has issued a statement for parents and students:

"Ash Manor School is closed today Thursday 21 November 2024 due to fire incident in outbuildings.

"This is due to power outages in the main school building as result of fire in outbuildings of the school. "
